For the first time in 10 years, the Dare2B team has had to cancel all holiday events (Thanksgiving and Christmas) because of COVID restrictions at each of the shelters we work in. Our memorable holiday celebrations are an important part of Dare2B's 7 step developmental program focused on helping children break their individual cycles of poverty. These events offer children and parents an opportunity to discover our programs while giving them a safe platform to build community and friendships within the shelters. This years pandemic has hit our homeless youth in an extreme way. Working parents with no childcare have lost their jobs as they try to navigate their child's remote learning with limited resources, knowledge, and support. Homeless children are dealing with the ramifications and encountering higher stress levels.

The Dare2B team is in need of your support to create a memorable experience for our homeless youth living in NYC shelters. They need all our support - now more than ever - to survive and thrive during this pandemic.

We ask that you help us ensure Dare2B kids don't lose hope by providing them with two simple things - a gift and a family meal box (equipped with all the ingredients and trimmings to create a festive meal at home).
This holiday season we want to help them create one memorable experience they can cherish and cultivate during these trying times.
